Innovation's role in leadership Leading transformational change Design thinking and lean principles Building a culture of continuous innovation
Innovation rarely stalls for lack of ideas; it stalls in the leadership and change that should carry ideas through. This course gives leaders a grounded approach to both, from cultivating a culture that values creativity and calculated risk to aligning a transformation with the strategy it is meant to serve.
What the course covers
- Innovation and leadership: the characteristics of innovation-driven organizations, and how leaders cultivate a culture where creativity is expected rather than exceptional.
- Leading change: guiding transformation across business units, aligning vision with the goals of the change, and working through the resistance that accompanies it.
- Frameworks in practice: applying design thinking and lean principles to real organizational challenges, rather than treating them as vocabulary.
- Making it continuous: building the systems, teams, and cross-functional collaboration that turn a single initiative into a sustained capability.
The aim is leadership that can both spark innovation and see transformation through. Content is adapted to the organization’s sector and stage of change.
